CIUDAD JUAREZ – A pothole program started yesterday in Ciudad Juarez with an investment of US$1.8 million. US$1.1 million of said investment will be allocated to the purchase of mix supply and the remaining US$731.257 will be allocated for the payment of labor; all of this coming from resources provided by Fondo de Inversión Municipal Directa (IMD).
The city was divided into six zones, in each one of them, there will be one contractor in charge (the six of them won a national public bidding).
During a ceremony, the mayor of Ciudad Juarez, Armando Cabada, inaugurated the pothole program and stated that in each area at least 3 trucks with their respective crews of workers totaling 18 will be working.
