KCSM plans US$154 million investment

Kansas City Southern Mexico, has an undertaking to invest US$154 million, to be used for railway infrastructure and modifications to its Sanchez, Nuevo Laredo Backyard, in Tamaulipas; as well as expansions to its Interpuerto facilities and maintenance of tracks and new equipment and systems

, affirmed Jose Zozaya, Mexico President of the Firm. 19 backyard services are currently served every day in Monterrey’s metropolitan area, which are short 2 kilometer services for the industry and trains with local departures. The company transports automotive products, home appliances, consumption products, oil sub-products, aggregates and minerals, agricultural goods, among others.
