The arrival of Kia Motors to Mexico has triggered the establishment of 15 companies to Nuevo Leon and 10 more in Coahuila, investing about US$1.3 billion.
The Ministry of Economic Development (Sedec) in the State, indicated that these companies are Tier 2 type and are added to 12 direct suppliers that Kia has in the municipality of Pesqueria. Yura Corporation is one of the companies that are going to be established in Coahuila. This firm will invest US$53 million in a plant located in Torreon, generating about 4,000 jobs. In this plant, harnesses and wires will be produced to supply Kia Motors.
