Korean company inaugurated in Coahuila

The Governor Ruben Moreira Valdez announced an investment by the Korean Company Dong Yang Piston of Mexico for US$50 million, which totaled about US$6 billion captured from over 90 projects made during his administration, which generated 100 000 new jobs.

The company will begin operations next November in the “SERVER” Industrial Park in the municipality of Arteaga, on an 40 thousand square meters area, with 12 000 of constructed area. Initially, it will employ 50 people, but the goal is to have 300 highly trained workers within a maximum period of five years. Moreover, Antonio Gutierrez Jardón, Secretary of Economic Development and Tourism Competitiveness (SEDECT), stressed that 10 companies from Korea will arrive to Coahuila, as a result of the promotional tours that the Governor made in recent months.
