Despite threats by President Trump, the U.S. capital present in Mexicali’s manufacturing industry, Baja California, is not relocating and new investment is expected. Salvador Maese Barraza, President of Index, disclosed the kick start of a construction project from the Cerveceria de Baja California (Mexican brewery), with an economic out pour of US$1.6 billion, plus new plants and production lines opening in the electronics sector.
