TAMAULIPAS – As part of the celebration of the first day of the Mexican Petroleum Congress, the Secretariat of Energy Development (SEDENER) and the Mexican Petroleum Institute (IMP) signed a collaboration agreement to continue promoting the country’s educational and energy future.
The signing was attended by the Secretary of SEDENER, José Ramón Silva; the Technical Secretary, Alejandro Rodríguez; the General Director of IMP, Marco Osorio; and the Director of Training and Development, Zoloxochitl del Consuelo Aquino Campos.
This agreement marks a milestone in inter-institutional cooperation, with the objective of promoting development and innovation in the energy sector in Tamaulipas, a strategic region for Mexico’s oil and energy industry.
The Government of Tamaulipas informed that the agreement aims to strengthen technological and research capabilities, promote sustainability and energy efficiency, and contribute to the economic growth of the region and the country as a whole.
The joint efforts between IMP and SEDENER promise to generate synergies that will benefit both industry and society, consolidating Tamaulipas as a reference in the national and international energy field.
“It will be very beneficial to bring Tamaulipas and all its specialists here and work together towards new challenges and an energy future,” said Secretary Jose Ramon Silva.
