Mexteel investing US$43 million in Coahuila

As part of the dynamism in Coahuila’s economy, Governor Ruben Moreira Valdez has recently inaugurated Mexsteel Opco, a project with a US$43 million capital investment. This energy company, originally from the US, is dedicated to produce storage tanks for shale gas and oil.  A total of 130 direct jobs will be created during this first stage. The improvement in security and the unceasing efforts to reestablish the rule of law, have been part of the strategy to be able to offer better conditions to investors; as well as removing unnecessary procedures, for instance, expediting the processing time of construction permits, in addition to providing better academic formation for the youth.
