TIJUANA – There are 2,500 Central American migrants in Tijuana who already have a work visa and can be integrated into the city’s industry, said Ulises Araiza Sánchez, president of the Industry Human Resources Association in Tijuana (Arhitac).
Araiza Sánchez said that this represents good news, since it is a group of people who can join the industrial force of the city. He mentioned that with the installation of a shelter, Arhitac intends to offer vacancies that exist, as well as the benefits that Central Americans will receive.
“Not all vacancies belong to the industry, some migrants have the profile to be added to the construction or services sector, but the idea is to open the landscape,” said the president of Arhitac.
He added that a main aspect is to verify the education of each person concerned, since, if one is prepared, one can aspire to a higher position and not only as an operator in production lines.
