CHIHUAHUA – The head of Desarrollo Económico y Turístico, Maria Angelica Granados, announced four new national commercial flights and one new international flight for the city of Chihuahua, starting in March.
The flights will depart from Chihuahua’s Roberto Fierro Villalobos International Airport to Mexicali, Merida and Hermosillo through the Volaris airline.
Moreover, on June 18, Volaris will start operating a flight from Chihuahua to Albuquerque. Said route will have a departure frequency of two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday. Granados explained that this new connection offer will attract new investment opportunities and tourism to the city, as it connects the state with major companies.
In addition, the Ciudad Juarez – Queretaro flight was also announced, starting from the second semester of the year. Both cities are nationally recognized for their important industrial activity.
