The production kick start of the new version of the Chevrolet Equinox, at the General Motors Ramos Arizpe plant, is bringing about employment, economic inflow and certainty to the South Eastern Region of Coahuila. Jorge Tafich Martinez, President of CANACO Saltillo, comments that GM has prospects of producing 180,000 units per year in Mexico, with a 100,000 unit production in Ramos Arizpe, and the remaining 80,000 made in San Luis Potosi.
