FRONTERA, COAH – With an initial investment of US$16.7 million, the new Frontera Industrial Park was inaugurated in Coahuila, seeking to promote employment and infrastructure for the arrival of new companies to the region.
The industrial park is located in the municipality of Frontera and will have an area of 88 hectares with 79 lots, while for a second phase 80 more hectares are contemplated, for a total of 168 hectares.
This complex will provide lodging for companies arriving in the Central Region, whether domestic or foreign capital.
During his participation, Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís expressed that this new park will be encouraging for the reception of companies that, at the same time, will generate employment in the short term, and highlighted the teamwork with the mayors of the region.
For his part, Claudio Bres Garza, Secretary of Economy of the State, highlighted the importance of professional industrial lodging for the arrival of new industries and companies in parks such as the one that starts operations.
He pointed out that in the last three months three new parks have been started up in the Laguna Region, and now in the Central Region, while others are being contemplated in Piedras Negras.
“I assure you that before the first, second or third warehouse is finished, they will already be occupied in advance; Maxion is growing to its third plant; FreigthCar continues to grow, and today there are businessmen willing to create ties with investors who are betting on this region because the parks are already done,” he commented.
On the other hand, the mayor of Frontera, Roberto Clemente Piña Amaya, recognized the efforts of the businessmen who are making the investment, which in the short term will give results for the arrival of new companies, which is a very important moment.
He mentioned the amount of investment of US$110 million that has arrived to this municipality, which has a special labor force, and in a state with security that guarantees the arrival of new companies.
On behalf of the company, the Director of the Monclova Industrial Park, Andrés Oyervides Ramírez, thanked and congratulated Governor Miguel Riquelme for the support for the development of this series of projects, which are carried out thanks to the security available in the state.
