A simultaneous announcement has been made for the industrial sector in Coahuila with the new investment in the municipality of La Laguna and the expansion of Takata´s production lines. Takata’s expansion plan, will take place in the Las Americas and Mieleras Industrial Parks
, creating over 1,500 jobs for the production lines that will be brought from the municipality of Monclova. Once confirmed, the project would arrive just in time to the region, due that the Laguna Automotive Cluster has just opened, aiming to bring companies together and attract new investments.
