NUEVO LEON – Nuevo León is preparing to host the largest electromobility event in Latin America: the Global Transportation & Innovation Summit 2025, which will take place on June 4 and 5 at Cintermex.
This event will bring together companies, experts, academics and governments to explore the latest innovations in electromobility and the automotive industry.
Organized by the Ministry of Economy of Nuevo Leon, in collaboration with the Nuevo Leon 4.0 initiative and the Nuevo Leon Automotive Cluster (CLAUT), the forum will seek to consolidate the state’s position as a key center for technological innovation and the automotive industry.
More than 500 suppliers and 100 buyers from more than 15 countries are expected to participate, as well as international leaders in the sector, who will exchange ideas and explore business opportunities.
The event will feature an 8,000-square-meter showroom with the presence of global, national and local companies, as well as academic institutions and specialized conferences.
In addition, the event projects commercial transactions for US$5 billion, which represents a significant impact on Nuevo León’s economy. According to Emmanuel Loo, in charge of the Ministry of Economy’s office, this meeting reinforces the state’s position as a “hub” for innovation and electromobility, sectors with constant growth in the region.
“This event combines automotive, innovation and technology, and has become a key platform for generating economic opportunities and strategic alliances,” said Loo.
For her part, Clelia Hernandez, director of the Nuevo Leon 4.0 initiative, stressed that the dynamism towards innovation and technology is key to maintaining Nuevo Leon as the capital of Industry 4.0 in Latin America.
Among the companies confirmed for this edition are Caterpillar, Daimler, John Deere, Kia, Panasonic, Ford, Stellantis and many more, including a special delegation from Quebec with 20 participating companies. The event will also be attended by key automotive industry figures and business representatives, strengthening the connection between different players in the innovation ecosystem.
The Global Transportation & Innovation Summit 2025 not only positions Nuevo León as a leader in the transition to electromobility, but also reinforces its commitment to sustainable development, cutting-edge technology and economic progress in the region.
