CIUDAD JUAREZ – Employees of the company North American Mailing Service, installed in Ciudad Juarez, have been waiting outside the industrial ship after they could no longer enter the facility.
Data obtained among the same employees indicate that, maquiladora managers may be responsible for their suspension.
About 750 workers opted to settle outside the maquila to prevent more machinery to be taken out, an action that began last week, said the workers.
It was reported that personnel from Junta Local de Conciliación y Arbitrajecame went to the facility in order to know about the situation. For their part, employees stated they will stay at the site until their work situation is defined or, in any case, they are fired in accordance with the law.
