The Ministry of Economic Development (SEDEC) has a 130-project portfolio belonging to the automotive, manufacturing, energy, logistics and food sectors, that are interested in establishing in Nuevo Leon, by investing US$6 billion and generating near of 20,000 jobs.
The predominant countries with potential and already established projects are the U.S., South Korean, Denmark, Spain, China, France and Italy, among others. The current administration of the State has shown interest on boosting Mexican companies, including SMEs that contribute with 80% of the investments and job creation.
