NUEVO LEON – The governor of Nuevo Leon, Samuel Garcia Sepulveda, announced that the state will offer tax incentives and infrastructure works to attract companies that want to settle in Anahuac and Puerto Colombia.
In a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Economy, Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, García Sepúlveda formalized the agreement to grant zero VAT, zero ISR, discounts in ISN, property tax, fast and digital procedures to investors who decide to settle in these municipalities.
Anáhuac and Puerto Colombia, located on the border with the United States, are two of the municipalities with the greatest potential for industrial development and investment attraction in the state.
The federal Ministry of Economy will support this effort through the Nuevo León Ministry of Economic Development, which will provide advice and support to investors who wish to take advantage of these incentives.
The tax incentives will apply to companies that generate at least 100 jobs in Anahuac and Puerto Colombia.
In addition to the tax incentives, the state will also invest in infrastructure works to improve the connectivity of these municipalities with the rest of Nuevo León and the United States.
In particular, the Nuevo León Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works will build the La Gloria-Colombia highway, which will directly connect Monterrey with Laredo, Texas.
This highway, which will be inaugurated in the coming months, will reduce travel time between the two cities from 12 to 6 hours.
Governor García Sepúlveda emphasized that these actions are part of the Nuevo León government’s efforts to promote the state’s economic development and attract investments that generate jobs and well-being for Nuevo León families.
