The medical products device company Össur, announced the expansion of its Tijuana Baja California operations, with a US$20 million investment and the creation of 100 new jobs.
The Minister of Economic Development in the State, Carlo Bonfante, indicated that the plant in Tijuana has over 450 jobs and there will be different stages of development, until its completion in 2019. The investment for new product research and development will be significant, as these products permit to support people’s mobility through advanced and innovative technology in prostheses and compression therapy.
