LAREDO – The World Trade Bridge (WTB) is the main operating structure in PORT-LAREDO, which reached a traffic of 16,000 trailers per day this year from the 14,000 registered the previous year, as indicated by executives of the same port.
The co-manager of Laredo, Texas, Rosario Cabello, along with Yvette Limón, director of the system of Bridges of Laredo, Texas, and Elsi Borgstedte, deputy director of the International Airport of Laredo, stressed that PORT-LAREDO constitutes railroads, an international airport and international bridges whose formation is owned by the city of Laredo, Texas, being the second most important land port in the U.S.
“It should be noted that during 2018 alone PORT-LAREDO operated more than US$225 billion, which meant US$1.2 million per minute of business hours,” said Rosario Cabello.
World Trade International Bridge is one of the four international bridges located in the cities of Laredo, Texas, and Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, which connect the United States and Mexico over the Rio Grande.
