COAHUILA – The Secretary of Economy of Coahuila, Luis Olivares Martinez, presented to a group of Portuguese businessmen the economic outlook of the state, highlighting the quality of its labor force, its infrastructure, logistics and connectivity, as well as its leadership in auto parts exports and the presence of important assembly companies.
During the meeting, Olivares Martinez underscored Coahuila’s strategic position within Mexico’s industrial activity and noted that the state government seeks to facilitate investment and entrepreneurship in the region.
“This government is a great ally of those who want to invest, undertake and work in Coahuila” mentioned Olivares.
For his part, Pedro Bravo, representative of the Portuguese association PRODUTECH, expressed his gratitude for the reception and acknowledged the public policies implemented in the state.
PRODUTECH brings together companies from sectors such as metalworking, information technology and advanced manufacturing. Its interest in Mexico includes the exploration of business opportunities, the establishment of alliances with software companies and the possible installation of offices in the country to expand its presence in the North American market.
The meeting was held at the facilities of the Coahuila State Council for Science and Technology (COECYT).
