The counselor for Promexico in Japan, Aaron Vera, held a meeting with entrepreneurs from Ciudad Juarez and visited several maquiladora plants, with the objective of boosting investment exchange between the State of Chihuahua and this Asian Country.

The counselor for Promexico in Japan, Aaron Vera, held a meeting with entrepreneurs from Ciudad Juarez and visited several maquiladora plants, with the objective of boosting investment exchange between the State of Chihuahua and this Asian Country. During his visit to the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry’s Offices (CANACINTRA) and the Lear and Delphi plants, Vera spoke about the business opportunities for the manufacturing industry in the Japanese market, since Japan is one of the major strategic partners of Mexico. Japan offers a wide variety of business opportunities both for export and attraction of investment into Mexico. There are nearly 970 Japanese capital firms currently operating in Mexico, and 10 of these firms have Chihuahua locations.
