Renovation of the Ternium building underway in Nuevo Leon

Ternium invested US$26 million to build a new plant to regenerate pickling solution, in the Municipality of San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon. The Firm explained that the goal of this project is to raise environmental standards by recycling the total amount of raw materials used during the process

, as well as being part of the integral plan for renewal of the Guerrero Plant, with the purpose of operating under the strictest environmental regulations worldwide. The Company maintains an investment program valued at US$225 million which is set to end this year, enforcing the established regulations related to environmental and industrial safety, maintenance and general renovations. The Guerrero Plant employs almost 4,000 people out of its staff with over 9,000 Mexico employees.
