French firm Saint-Gobain laid the first stone to its second plant in the South Eastern region of Coahuila, Glass Saltillo, with funds valued at US$135 million. This facility will produce glass panes measuring up to six meters, for the construction industry. The new industrial building, that is going to shelter the second production line, is located in the premises of the Alianza Derramadero Industrial Park, South of Saltillo, on a 22,500 square meters surface, where the Firm started the construction of another industrial building called Sekurit last May, to manufacture glass panes for the automotive industry.
