JUAREZ, CHIH – With the presence of its Board of Directors and members of the Executive Staff, Shure officially opened its new South Plant in Juarez, Mexico.
In a ceremony held on January 22nd, the company’s executives cut the inaugural ribbon, an event that was attended by more than 130 Associates from both Shure plants in Juarez, who celebrated this important milestone for the company.
The ceremony began with an emotional introduction by Monse Luna, Human Resources Manager of Ciudad Juarez. Afterwards, Chris Schyvinck, President and CEO of Shure, and Juventino Herrera, Juarez Plant Manager, shared words of welcome and gave a brief overview of the project.
Jamie Griffin, Shure’s Senior Vice President, highlighted the importance of this facility and its impact on both the company and the city of Juarez.
Finally, the Board of Directors, Executive Staff and Plant Manager took their golden scissors and, accompanied by an exciting countdown, all participated in the ceremonial cutting, making the opening of the facility official.
