ARIZONA – The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) celebrated the third anniversary of Small Business Boot Camp, a program that connects entrepreneurs and small business leaders with local experts who provide support, guidance and resources through free weekly educational webinars.
Launched on April 27, 2020 as a planned six-week pandemic-related resource, Small Business Boot Camp has become a sustainable resource for small businesses across Arizona. The success of the program has led to the launch of Spanish editions in January 2023 to support Arizona’s Spanish-speaking business community.
Small Business Boot Camp has hosted 276 sessions that included presentations from more than 220 experts and were attended by more than 14,800 entrepreneurs from Arizona’s 15 counties.
“Small Business Boot Camp has become an invaluable resource to help Arizona’s small businesses achieve their goals,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority.
Over the past three years, Small Business Boot Camp has become a key resource for Arizona’s small business community. The sessions, held every Tuesday, cover topics relevant to business owners, including managing finances, operating practices, employee management, marketing, sales and strategies for overcoming challenges.
Each session is presented by leading companies, universities, community college programs, non-profit organizations and small business owners who are experts in their fields. More than 130 different companies have been represented as presenters at the bootcamp.
The ACA detailed that it will support small businesses through its suite of programs, including Small Business Boot Camp, Small Business Digital Academy and Arizona Business One Stop.
