Korean company SPM Auto Parts is opening a new production plant at Vynmsa industrial park in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, next October, with a US$30 million investment and the creation of 300 new jobs, informed Jose Quiroga, Director of Economic Development of this Municipality. Bolts, screws, fasteners and cold forging are going to be produced in this 7,000 square meters factory, which will supply to clients all over Mexico, including the Kia plant in Nuevo Leon. Mr. Quiroga commented that the Company chose Vynmsa industrial park due to the facilities to find staff, thanks to the proximity of several educational institutions, such as Universidad Tecnologica de Escobedo.
