TAMAULIPAS – The Secretary of Economy of Tamaulipas, Ninfa Cantú Deándar, held a series of meetings with executives of Japanese companies in the city of Tokyo, Japan, within the framework of the Asia 2023 Business Mission.
Cantú Deándar pointed out that Governor Américo Villarreal instructed to provide all the facilities for the companies to materialize their investments that they plan to carry out in the south of the state in the coming months.
The Japanese companies that met with the Minister of Economy expressed their interest in investing in sectors such as electromobility, manufacturing and logistics.
Cantú Deándar highlighted the institutional collaboration with the Mexican Embassy in Japan and Ambassador Melba Pría to strengthen commercial ties and friendship between both regions.
Within the framework of the business mission, the team of the Ministry of Economy of Tamaulipas also held a meeting with Alberto Cuellar, Minister for Asia Pacific of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with whom the prospect of exports from Mexico of products in which the state has a competitive position was analyzed.
