TIJUANA – The construction of a park in the East Zone of Tijuana will have an investment of US$21 million, with the purpose of benefiting 500,000 people, announced Consejo de Desarrollo de Tijuana (CDT).
Aram Hodoyan Navarro, president of CDT, stated that for the second half of this year they hope to plant the first tree and forecasted that in a period of two and a half years the project can be released.
We’ve been working hard long ago on a big park for Tijuana and we’re planning that it could be built between the free highway Tijuana-Tecate and Boulevard 2000, an area that has grown in the last decade.
Luis Lutteroth del Riego, vice-president of the CDT, added that the land is already available and that this project is part of 12 parks that they pretend to build in the city.
