BAJA CALIFORNIA – With the aim of encouraging the arrival of visitors to the region, Secretaría de Turismo del Estado (Secture) will strengthen the promotion of tourism in Mexico, the United States and other countries.
The head of Secture, Oscar Escobedo Carignan, reported that during a meeting with minister of federal tourism, Miguel Torruco Marques, discussed several topics of interest to the tourism sector of Baja California.
Torruco Marqués said that the creation of an image campaign for the state, as well as strategic tourism projects, are some of the plans that will be followed in the coming days.
In that sense, he said that they are maintaining efforts to improve the image and regional tourism industry, so they work together with beer industry in the creation of the Beer Museum to add value to tourism.
