Monterrey based Trailers y Tanques de Aluminio (Tytal) Corporation, is planning to invest US$30 million to expand its two plants to renovate (retrofit) aluminum tanks, in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon. This new investment will support a venture into the US market, which is being forced to replace 80,000 railroad-auto tanks to transport crude oil and fuel, due to the enforcement of new weight, size and safety regulations in the US, from January this year onward. This project would be generating 300 new jobs, in addition to the 550 positions already working at the two plants in Cadereyta, with training and qualifications provided by the Company itself.
