NUEVO LAREDO – The Mexican airline TUM AeroCarga began operations at the Quetzalcóatl International Airport in Nuevo Laredo, the first airport in the network of Airports and Auxiliary Services to which the cargo carrier flies.
This new service will be carried out on board a Bombardier CRJ200 plane, on the route: Toluca – Reynosa – Nuevo Laredo – Reynosa – Guadalajara – Toluca, with flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
According to the carrier, it is estimated to move between 500 kilos and one ton of cargo per flight.
With the arrival of TUM to Nuevo Laredo, it is expected that the terminal will see an increase in its income, in addition to a diversification in cargo transportation, since in this border city, transportation by land is predominant.
Currently, the Quetzalcóatl International Airport maintains a passenger transport service per day, operated by Aeroméxico.
