Investment from companies of the U.K. will keep steady in Nuevo Leon, with the same interest despite Brexit. Investment from an automotive and a construction company is expected to arrive this year.
Carlos Botello, Senior Trade Officer at the U.K. Consulate in Monterrey, disclosed that one such companies is Kingspan, from the construction sector; the other is an auto part company not yet to be disclosed, that will become established in the Municipality of Apodaca. According to information from U.K. officers, there are 22 British companies operating in Nuevo Leon, in sectors such as manufacturing, law firms, professional consultants and health firms. This State has shipped out exports to the U.K. valued at US$115 million and received imports worth US$46 million between the months from January to April 2016.
