CIUDAD JUAREZ – The governor of the State of Chihuahua, Javier Corral Jurado, delivered uniforms and school supplies to students from Ciudad Juárez schools.
With an investment of US$281,809, a total of 7,200 complete uniform packages were delivered to primary schools located in marginal areas of the locality. In addition, 23,500 students at the preschool, elementary and high school levels in Ciudad Juárez will receive new school supplies.
Since the beginning of the school year, 91,069 students from the state’s 67 municipalities have benefited from the delivery of uniforms, representing a total investment of US$3.4 million.
As for the delivery of school supplies, by the end of this school year, 127,162 students from all over the state will benefit, with an investment of US$575,404.
Corral said that during this year they will seek to double the delivery of uniforms in all municipalities of the state, so that more girls, boys and young people who live in poverty conditions can improve said conditions during their academic training.
