US$1.8 billion would arrive to Coahuila

COAHUILA – Coahuila has the possibility of receiving an investment worth  US$1.8 billion, in addition to the US$2.5 billion raised in the first year of the current government administration, stated Jaime Guerra Pérez.

The US$1.8 billion estimated for 2019 in Coahuila involves 40 different investment projects from different productive sectors, explained the minister of Economy.

Approximately 15,000 to 16,000 jobs represent the 40 projects in Coahuila’s investment portfolio this year; Guerra Perez he added that more than 18,000 jobs were lost during the last quarter of 2018.

“So far no investment has been stopped , therefore, we are confident that as a state we will continue to grow”, stressed Guerra Perez.
