US$27 million to be invested in Laredo International Airport

LAREDO, TX – Authorities in Laredo, TX released growth figures for the International Airport over the past twelve months.

During the event, an investment of US$27 million was made for the remodeling of the Laredo airport, which will be completed in 2024.

The remodeling plan for this airport’s infrastructure includes the cargo, taxi, and passenger service areas.

“The airport today ranks No. 5 in international trade operations with Mexico and contributes with 1.5% of the gross regional product to the U.S.,” said Congressman Henry Cuellar.
