ARIZONA – The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) has announced the three winners of the Venture Madness 2024 Conference.
Venture Madness, Arizona’s longest-running pitch competition, showcases early-stage and emerging growth companies and offers participants exclusive access to the region’s most active and reputable angel investors and venture capital firms.
During the April 4 event, companies competed in face-to-face presentations. This year’s edition featured 16 finalists selected from 130 entries.
After the presentations, the judges selected three winners: first place won US$25,000, second place US$10,000 and third place US$5,000.
First place went to Rovicare, a Tempe-based digital healthcare platform that automates patient transition and care coordination. The company’s mission is to reduce overall healthcare costs, make healthcare more accessible to more people and increase the quality of care for all patients.
The company, Retisio, won second place. The company is a leading provider of advanced e-commerce solutions that enable modern retailers and brands to sell more online and reduce risk.
Third place went to Quibble, a startup that provides revenue management services and software for vacation rental properties.
“Congratulations to the outstanding Venture Madness 2024 winners. Arizona is home to one of the fastest growing and most welcoming startup ecosystems in the country. We are proud to continue our partnership with Venture Madness and Invest Southwest to support talented entrepreneurs,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority.
The Venture Madness 2024 Conference also included panels with Arizona startup founders, including eVisit, Pyx Health, Shopgenie and Mosaic, and a panel of venture capital leaders discussed the venture capital landscape.
For the third year in a row, the event also featured a dedicated exhibition area, where finalist companies, along with other startups, had the opportunity to showcase their products and services to accredited investors from across the country.
Venture Madness has helped raise more than $1 billion in equity funding since 1992. Previous Venture Madness winners include CampusLogic, Televeda, Homie and Qwick.
