The Mexican Company “Eolica Vicente Guerrero”, submitted an order of 118 megawatts (mw) to Vestas, for the construction of the Vicente Guerrero wind energy park, located in Tamaulipas. The wind turbine manufacturer said that this order is the result of a private Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), which includes supply and installation of six V136-3.45 wind turbines plus another batch of batch of twenty-seven V136-3.45 mw turbines with optimized potency up to 3.6 megawatts. The contract raises the total accrual of orders that Vestas received in Mexico to over 700 mw during 2017, including the largest wind energy park in the Country.
