Vision Produce expands Arizona facility services

PHOENIX –  Vision Produce Co., Los Angeles, has transformed the services it offers at its Phoenix facility in recent years.

“Our Phoenix facility over the last several years has developed a streamlined repack operation, sus-tainable energy additions and near perfect food safety scores,” Donald Souther, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Vision Produce, said in a news release.

Souther said that through the leadership of general manager and vice president Lance Nichols, the company plans to grow its operations by assisting other companies with services.

We see a growing need for storage, cross dock, repack and distribution in the Phoenix area as new products continually inundate the grocery industry,” Souther said in the release.

The Arizona distribution center has:

• 35,000 square feet of warehouse space near a major transportation corridor;
• 20,000 square feet of cooler space divided into seven coolers with separate temperature controls;
• Multiple dock doors; and
