CHIHUAHUA – With the commitment to close the gender gap and generate new opportunities for women in the industry, the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development of Chihuahua (SIDE), NETSMX and IPC Mexico, launched the call to participate in the second edition of Women’s IPC Day 2025.
The event will be held on March 4 from 12:00 to 16:00 hours at the Index Juarez facilities, and will bring together leaders, representatives from the industrial, governmental and academic sectors in a comprehensive forum designed to strengthen the role of women in electronics manufacturing and wire harnesses.
Activities include panels of women leaders, specialized conferences and networking opportunities to inspire and strengthen the professional development of attendees.
The program includes presentations such as “Reaching for the Stars: Mexico’s Vision for Space,” given by Nadia Zenteno Perez of MAT X SPACE, as well as panels on leadership and success stories of women scholarship recipients of the WID2024 program.
The IPC Plan to Reduce the Talent Gap will also be presented by Lorena Villanueva from IPC Mexico, and certificates will be awarded to the IPC WID2025 women scholarship recipients in Electronics Assembly for Operators.
Women’s IPC Day 2025 aims to provide a space for learning, connection and empowerment, which brings together professionals, students, entrepreneurs and organizations committed to gender equality in the sector.
