TEXAS – Governor Greg Abbott has announced that Microsoft Corp. will expand its operations in Irving, Texas.
The expansion will further establish their Las Colinas site as a strategic regional hub in the area.
“The investment by Microsoft is further evidence of Texas’ rise as a global technology hub,” stated Governor Abbott.
On the other hand, Raamel Mitchell, Microsoft Las Colinas campus director, pointed out that Microsoft have a robust workforce and the company plans to continue growing.
As part of this expansion, Microsoft will create 575 new jobs and invest more than US$31 million in capital.
A Texas Enterprise Fund grant of US$4 million has been extended to Microsoft Corporation.
