During the ceremony, the creation of the Open Source Office was also formalized, which will seek to coordinate efforts between government, academia, and industry to promote the development of open source-based technologies.
The event was attended by state and university authorities, as well as representatives of the LPI, including: Carlos Serna, Undersecretary of Economic Development and Innovation; Rubén De La Torre, Director of Projects and Innovation; Hernán Pachas, Global Alliance Representative of the LPI; Efraín Alcorta, Director of FIME; and the Director of Innovation and Technology at the UANL.
