Starting October 8, 2025, Frontier Airlines will introduce a new direct flight connecting El Paso International Airport with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The service will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
With this addition, Frontier expands its operations in the region and enhances the existing travel options to Dallas. Currently, American Airlines offers service from El Paso to DFW, while Southwest Airlines connects El Paso with Dallas Love Field. Frontier’s entry into the market provides passengers with an additional alternative, potentially offering greater schedule flexibility and more competitive fares.
In recent years, El Paso International Airport has worked to expand its network of destinations and airline partners as part of a broader effort to improve national connectivity. The inclusion of the El Paso–DFW route by Frontier aligns with that goal and responds to increasing demand for flights to major hubs like Dallas, which serves as a gateway to numerous domestic and international destinations.
Frontier began operating in El Paso in 2018 with flights to Denver. Since then, the airline has expanded to include routes to Chicago, Las Vegas, and—on a temporary basis—Orlando, San Diego, and Ontario, California.
The addition of a new airline on a route already served by other carriers can foster healthy competition, potentially leading to better pricing and more travel options for passengers. Frontier’s new route also strengthens its presence in the El Paso market and contributes to improving overall air connectivity in the border region.
