Tamaulipas was showcased to members of the National Tourism Business Council (CNET) as a promising destination for new investments in the tourism sector. During a meeting held in Mexico City, state representatives outlined key factors that could drive tourism growth in the region, including land and air connectivity, natural diversity, and improvements in security.

State officials were also present, including Governor Américo Villarreal, who emphasized Tamaulipas’s designation as one of Mexico’s 15 Development Hubs.

Discussions also covered ongoing tourism projects, expansion of air routes, and the “Tamaulipas, Surely You Fall in Love” campaign aimed at improving the destination’s public image.
Among the attendees were María de Lourdes Prieto Márquez, executive president of CNET; José Serur Cababie, CEO of Ideurban Services; Jordi Vidal Redondo, operations director at Hoteles Camino Real; and representatives from various industry companies.
